Funeral services for Mrs. Elise Lambert, 80, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Highway in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. until 9 P.M. and on Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born May 11, 1932 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ben and Clara Birdwell. She was married to the late Bernice Lambert, who passed away on June 10, 1975. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Philadelphia Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Great Grandchild: Nicholas Lackey; 3 Brothers: John A. Birdwell, Earl Birdwell, and Lloyd Birdwell; and 4 Sisters: Estelle Billingsley, Eudell Flatt, Ruby Jewell Burgess, and Dorothy Birdwell. Survivors include: 2 Sons: Roger Lambert, and wife Sherry, of Kingsport, TN; and Ronnie Lambert of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Carolyn Lambert, and special friend, Lillard Smith of Bloomington Springs, TN; and Barbara, and husband, Glenn Stage, of Bloomington Springs, TN; 3 Grandsons: Chris Stage and his wife, Susan; James Lambert and his wife, Heather; and Timmy Lambert; 4 Granddaughters: Angie Lambert; Misty, and her husband, Austin Bateman; Lisa Lambert; and Tracy Stage, and her fianc, Nick Fannin; 12 Great-Grandchildren: Jacob, Katie, Seth, Brianna, Ben, Lydia, Wyatt, Morgan, Cody, Nicole, Brittany, and Ashley; 1 Brother: Charles Birdwell and his wife, Elise, of Baxter, TN; and 1 Sister: Treva Thomas of Cookeville, TN.
