Funeral services for Mr. Elbert Lee Beechboard, 68, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1948, in Clay County, TN, to the late Elbert Tidwell and Nannie Beechboard Boles. He was married to Liz Beechboard, who survives. He was an electrician and plumber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Harold Beechboard; 2 Sisters: Edna Hammock and Pearl Boles Anderson; 2 Brothers: John Hollis Beechboard and Gary Tidwell; and the Mother of his children: Ruby Johnson Beechboard. Survivors include his Wife: Liz Beechboard of Celina, TN; 2 Daughters: Loretta Beechboard and Luanne (Doug) Stafford, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Step-Daughter: Cheynne (Bronson) Bentley of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Chelsea Brown, Ciara (J.W.) Jones, Hunter Beechboard, Jozie Beechboard, and Jaedyn Stafford; 2 Great Grandchildren: Jaylie Brown and Easton Jones; 2 Brothers: Clay Boles of Celina, TN, and Lester (Tiffany) Boles of Celina, TN; and 2 Sisters: Judy Tidwell of Hilham, TN, and Brenda (David) Boles of Hilham, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
