Funeral services for Mr. Elbert Chrisman, 86, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born December 28, 1926, in Whitesburg, KY, to the late Charles Chrisman and Laura Profitt. On August 3, 1944, he was married to the late Dois I. Chrisman, who passed away May 1, 2008. He was a carpenter, and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Cynthia Brown; 1 Great Grandchild: Dale Brown; and 1 Sister: Gertrude Gabbert. Survivors include 1 Son: Kurt (Lou "Lucy") Brown of Hilham, TN; 1 Daughter: Wilma (James) Kemp of Southgate, MI; 6 Grandchildren: Becky (Jeff) Daley, Kimberly (David) Toth, Jim (Angie) Kemp, Ronald Elbert Brown (Janet), Daniel Brown, and Sheri (Jeff) Price; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; and 3 Sisters.
