Edward Lee Lockhart

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Lee Lockhart, 84, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services. Mr. Lockhart passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Wyndridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossville, TN. He was born January 26, 1925, in Granite City, IL, to the late Bristol and Rowena Angle Lockhart. He was a chef, and served in the armed forces during WWII. Mr. Lockhart was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Tina Marie Lockhart. Survivors include 1 Sister: Frances McCormick of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Niece: Nancy Mayberry of Cookeville, TN; 1 Nephew: Larry McCormick of Morrison, TN; 1 Great-Niece: Angie Mayberry; and 2 Great Nephews: David and Danny Mayberry.
