Edward "Eddie" Earl Stafford

Edward "Eddie" Earl Stafford was born November 22, 1959, in Gainesboro, TN and he passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN at the age of 65.

Eddie was the son of Ralph Stafford and Notie Adeline Meadows. He was a construction worker for several years. Also, he worked in lawn care maintenance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: David Stafford, Jackie Stafford, Tim Stafford, Terry Stafford; and sister: Betty Hamlet.

Survivors include his sons: Johnnie (Vicki) Stafford and Ronnie (Amy) Stafford; daughter: Angela Stafford; sisters: Judy Montgomery of Moss, TN and Katherine (Jim) Tinsley of Gainesboro, TN; grandchildren: Calvin Stafford, Jada Stafford, Makayla Stafford, Aiden Stafford, Maci Allen, Nicholas Allen, Ethan Stafford, Corbin Stafford, Bailey Stafford, Mackenna Allen, and Everly Stafford. Several other relatives and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in Eddie's honor to assist the family with the funeral expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.

Visitation will be on Sunday April 13, 2025, from 1 pm to 8 pm and Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 2 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Lakeland Barham officiating. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh Community.
