Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Wade, 90, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Vinson Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 4, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Att and Liza Rich. She was married to the late Hughley Wade, who passed away March 25, 1995. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Sally Carter, Dimple Harris, and Lona Merritt; and 1 Brother: Robert Rich. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vinson Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
