Edna Pyron Jackson

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Pyron Jackson, 70, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pyron Family Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at her residence. She was born February 14, 1947, in Old Hickory, TN, to the late Cleveland Pyron and Ethel Denton Pyron. She was married to the late Kenneth Jackson, who passed away on March 10, 2017. She was a factory worker at Nielsen and Bainbridge, and a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Paula Ann Jackson; and 1 Brother: James Pyron. Survivors include 2 Sons: Mounce Jackson and Tim Jackson, both of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandsons: Travis and Tyler Jackson, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Wallace Pyron of Mt. Juliet, TN; 2 Sisters: Ann Dedman and Elese Taylor, both of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Special Friend: Cathy Hopkins of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Hubert Jones will officiate at the services.
