Edna Poston Barlow

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Poston Barlow, 83, of the New Hope Community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, March 22, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 3 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Barlow passed away on Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee. She was born March 10, 1923, in Jackson County to the late James Preston Poston and Lora Lee Poston. On November 24, 1942, she was married to the late Thomas W. Barlow, who passed away on July 14, 1983. Mrs. Barlow was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Community Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Bryan Barlow; 1 Brother: Claude Poston; and 3 Sisters: Maudie Williams, Hattie Mea, and Jewell Smith. Survivors include 5 Sons and 4 Daughters-in-Law: Ronnie C. & June Barlow of Cadiz, KY; James Ralph & Gail Barlow of Rickman, TN; Bruce & Reba Barlow, Mike Barlow, and Jeff & Donna Barlow, all of Hilham, TN; 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Lella Sue & Danny Allen of Lebanon, TN, and Anna Ruth & Jim Morgan of Hilham, TN; and 1 Sister: Bertie Lawson of Algood, TN. 20 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, other relatives, and friends also survive.
