Graveside services for Mrs. Edna Mae Beaty, 68, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. She passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born February 8, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Howard Casteel and Pearlie Hamlet Casteel. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Harmony Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister and several brothers. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Karen Hix of Gainesboro, TN, and Kathy Cox of Crossville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Lacretia Hix of Gainesboro, TN, and Robbie Green of Crossville, TN; 1 Sister: Lucy Gray of Livingston, TN; and 1 Brother: Fred Casteel of Gainesboro, TN.
