Private family graveside services for Mrs. Edna Jackson Roberts, 95, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the Cookeville City Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 18, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Andrew Jackson and Virginia Jackson. She was married to the late Jonah F. Roberts. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Bobby Roberts and wife, Betty. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Pat Forkum of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Leslie Clark of Gainesboro, TN, and Patty (Lee) Kuykendall of Douglasville, GA; 4 Great Grandchildren: Cynthia Head, Ricky Head, Erika Kuykendall, and Lucas Kuykendall; 4 Great Great Grandchildren: Braxston Bean, Kyler Head, Jaxson Head, and Elijah Kuykendall; and 1 Sister: Gladys Whitaker of Cookeville, TN.
