Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Flatt Roberts, 104, of Gainesboro, TN will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the time of services. She passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born September 7, 1914, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Henry Flatt and Delia Birdwell Flatt. On October 15, 1939, she was married to the late Henry Harold Roberts, who passed away May 28, 1995. She was a homemaker, and a long-time member of the Stone Church of Christ and later the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Tom B., Benton, JD, and Mitchell; and 7 Sisters: Clena, Bertha, Lillie, Mary Lena, Eunice, Rebecca, and Jessie May. Survivors include 2 Sons: Wayne of Palms Springs, CA, and David (Helen) of Knoxville, TN. 1 Daughter: Patsy Jochum of Fredrick, MD. 4 Grandchildren: Julie Roberts, Teresa Waas, Jeanine (Steve) Matz, and David H. (Jill) Roberts. 5 Great Grandchildren: Payton and William Waas, Riley Matz, and Lila and Annie Roberts. 1 Sister: Marie Hershberger of Warren, MI; 1 Sister-in-law: Betty Flatt of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Ben Flatt and Bro. Bill Flatt will officiate at the services.
