Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Doris Brown Meadows, 77, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born September 8, 1939, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim Brown and Margie Anna Brown. She was married to the late James C. Meadows. She was a factory worker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: James Leonard Brown, Joe Clyde Brown, and Edward Lee Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: Gary Meadows of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Grandson: Daniel Meadows of Baxter, TN; 1 Great Grandson: Cole Meadows; 1 Brother: Lewis Albert Brown of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Margaret Stafford of Gainesboro, TN.
