Funeral services for Eddie Lee "Leroy" Hensley, Jr., 30, of Smithville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1982, in Nashville, TN, to Eddie Lee Hensley, Sr. and Angelia "Shorty" Scott. He worked in commercial construction. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Cordell and Roxie Hensley; his Maternal Grandparents: Venice and May Ellen Mayberry; and 1 Daughter: Annalese Hensley. Survivors include his Fiance: Jessie Anne Davis of Smithville, TN; 1 Son: Dawson Lee Hensley of Carthage, TN; 1 Daughter: Breanna Nicole Hensley of Carthage, TN; 3 Step- Sons: Deven Davis, Preston Davis, and Lucus Davis; his Father: Eddie Lee Hensley, Sr. of Gainesboro, TN; his Mother: Angelia "Shorty" Scott of Whitleyville, TN; and 2 Sisters: Amanda "Lucy" Hensley of Gainesboro, TN, and Heather Hensley of Arizona.
