Memorial services for Eddie C. Hawkins, 58, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, at his residence in Bloomington Springs, TN. He was born February 17, 1956, in Jackson County, TN, to the late George Hawkins and Alice Flatt Hawkins. He was a custodian at Upperman High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers-in-law: Roy Bohannon, Hollis Martin, and Bill Schmitt; and 2 Nephews: Jason Bohannon and Ricky Martin. He is survived by 1 Brother: Harold (Betty) Martin of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters: Marie Schmitt, Barbara Bohannon, Jennie (Ken) Carr, all of Cookeville, TN; and Doris Martin of Bloomington Springs, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bro. John Mabery will officiate at the services.
