Earl H. Johnson

Funeral services for Mr. Earl H. Johnson, 76, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday June 4, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John I. Pippin Cemetery in Bloomington Springs, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 10 A.M. until 9 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of services. Mr. Johnson passed away on Sunday, June 1, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 27, 1931 in Jackson County, TN to the late Jerry and Mary Dyer Johnson. He was a retired cafeteria worker at Tennessee Tech University and was a member of the Camp Road Church of Christ. Survivors include his special friends and caretakers: Roger and Rose Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; and Rebecca Bowman and Steven Meadows whom he considered as grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 Brothers: Boyd Darel Johnson of Loami, Illinois; Bobby Johnson of Baxter, TN; and Dale Johnson of Bloomington Springs, TN. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro.
