Earl "Doug" Stafford

Funeral services for Mr. Earl "Doug" Stafford, 67, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hendersonville Memorial Gardens in Hendersonville, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 - 9 P.M., Wednesday from 2 - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1944, in Hendersonville, TN, to the late Jimmy Leon Stafford and Maggie Eliza Stafford. On June 20, 1964, he was married to Dorothy A. Stafford, who survives. He was a supervisor and mechanic. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Ralph Stafford, James Haywood Stafford, and Jimmy Stafford; and 3 Sisters: Helen Keith, Estelle Creasy, and Margaret Radar. Survivors include his Wife: Dorothy A. Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Tony D. (Patty) Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Renesa A. (Keith) Bridges of Lebanon, TN, and Angela M. Sisco of LaVergne, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Telisa Walker, David Reecer, Derek Ragland, Hailey Sisco, Kaylea Stafford, Kyle D. Stafford, Justin Bridges, and Drew Bridges; 1 Great-Grandchild: Gavin Townsend; 1 Brother: Eugene (Virginia) Stafford of Madison, TN; and 1 Sister: Wonda C. (Doug) Shrum of Gainesboro, TN. Bro.
