He was born December 9, 1944, in Polk County, TN, to Shelby K. Panter and Gladys Pulliam Panter. He was an electrician by trade, and served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his Daughter: Angela Dawn Trisdale of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Juline, Adam, John Paul, and Wyatt; 1 Brother: Kenny (Sonia) Panter of GA; and 2 Cousins: Martha Payne and Sonya Panter, both of Copperhill, TN.
