Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Rogers Jackson, 91, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Jackson passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She was born November 20, 1918, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Brantley Rogers and Amanda Bailey Rogers. She was married to the late Clarence Winters Jackson. She was a retired office manager at Jackson County Hospital, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Dwight Jackson. Survivors include 1 Son: Rhea Jackson of Hendersonville, TN; 1 Daughter: Sue and husband, Dan Scott of Ooltewah, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Andrew (Melissa) Moyers, Alex Jackson, Justyn Jackson and Katy Beth Jackson; 1 Sister: Bonnell Biggers of Lafayette, TN; and 4 Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Timothy, William, and Sarah Moyers.
