Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy J. Locke, 81, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 14, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Harvey Henson and Georgia Bennett Henson. On January 10, 1948, she was married to the late Jim T. Locke, who passed away January 1, 2000. She was a housewife, and a member of the Flynns Lick Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Daughters: Debbie Hensley and Sandy G. Spurlock; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Jack D. Locke and Connie Sue Locke; and 2 Brothers: Onnie Lee Henson and James Henson. Survivors include 4 Sons: Landon (Janice) Locke, David Locke, and Danny (Penny) Locke, all of Gainesboro, TN, and Harold (Remy) Locke of Bunnlevel, NC; 1 Son-in-Law: Richard Hensley of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Bonnie Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Finis Henson, Roy Henson, and Bill Henson, all of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Phyllis Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, and Doris Watts of McMinnville, TN; 13 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
