Dorothy Frances Hammock

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Frances Hammock, 69, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, October 4, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Flatt - Woolbright Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Hammock passed away on Monday, October 2, 2006, at her residence in Bloomington Springs, TN. She was born July 17, 1937, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Fred Robinson & Addie Johnson Robinson. On August 25, 1964, she was married to the late Bobby Hammock, who passed away on January 19, 1987. She was a retired factory worker at Wilson Sporting Goods and was a member of the Bloomington Springs Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hooper Maynord; her parents: Fred Robinson and Addie Johnson Robinson; 1 Son: Leamon Ray Tidwell, Jr.; 3 Brothers: Robert Anderson, Henry Paul Robinson, and Bobby Joe Robinson; and 1 Sister: Evelyn Adkins. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Randy & Leslie Huddleston Maynard of Bloomington Springs, TN; 4 Daughters and 3 Sons-in-Law: Nancy Johnson & Special Friend Brian Glazier and Pam (Jerry) Holt, all of Cookeville, TN; Judy (Gene) Stephens of Gainesboro, TN; and Debbie (George) Akers of Bloomington Springs, TN; 3 Brothers: Avalon Anderson and Frank Anderson, both of Michigan; and Harold Fred Robinson of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Amanda Harris, Rachel Maynard, Dustin Stephens, Jeremy Holt, Bobby Dale Thomas, Dillon Maynard, Little George Akers, and Katie Maynard; and 1 Great-Grandchild: Addy Harris. Bro. Johnny Fox and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: Grandchildren, Mike Birdwell, Preacher Anderson, and Aaron Thomas.
