Dorothy E. Sadler

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy E. Sadler, 81, of the North Springs community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, March 28, at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 9 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Sadler passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2006, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee. She was born March 31, 1924, to the late Fred Hix and Lillie Denton Hix. On April 29, 1944, she was married to the late Jonah D. Sadler, who passed away on July 5, 1994. Mrs. Sadler was a retired cafeteria manager at Fox Middle School in Jackson County. She was a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Eldon Hix, William Hix, Earl E. Hix, Fred Hix, Jr., and Leamon Hix; and 1 Sister: Oval Flatt. Survivors include 1 Son: Terry Sadler of the North Springs Community of Jackson County; 1 Daughter & Son-in-law: June & Ronel Carver of the North Springs Community of Jackson County; 2 Grand Children: Stephanie and Mark Myatt of Mud Lick, KY, and Jason and Nicole Carver of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 2 Great - Grand Children: Dillon Myatt and Malila Myatt; and 2 Sisters: Minnie Stafford of Gainesboro, TN and Jean Hix of Whitleyville, TN.
