Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Crabtree Harris, 85, of Granville, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN. Visitation will be on Sunday from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. She passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. She was born July 2, 1929 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Vernon V. and Maude Cassetty Crabtree. She was married to the late Robert Lee Harris, who passed away on March 25, 2010. She was a retired teacher from Jackson County High School and was a member of the Granville First United Methodist Church and the Granville Senior Citizens Center. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Paul Crabtree, Joe Crabtree, and Dr. John D. Crabtree. She is survived by 1 Sister: Elizabeth Crabtree (Leo) Halfacre. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Wayne Crabtree will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Granville Cemetery or the Granville Senior Citizen's Center by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
