Dorman D. Reeder

Funeral services for Mr. Dorman D. Reeder, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M until time of services. Mr. Reeder passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born January 31, 1937, in Burch Creek, Tennessee, to the late Delbert and Dessie Guare Reeder. On December 24, 1955, he was married to Sarah Jane MCGee Reeder, who survives. He worked in civil service in Dayton, Ohio, and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Delman, Donald, Dewayne, and Domer Reeder; and 3 Sisters: Delsie Pryor, Dovie Jenkins, and Deloris Jenkins. Survivors include his Wife: Sarah Jane MCGee Reeder of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Randall Leon Reeder and Richard Lee and wife, Kimberly Reeder all of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Maria Ann Reeder Short and Lucas Randall Reeder; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Madison Brook Short and Hailey Renee Short; 1 Brother: Odell Reeder of Lebanon, TN; and 1 Sister: Darline Sommers of Watertown, TN.
