Doris Olyne Hall

Funeral services for Doris Olyne Hall, 85, of the Hurricane community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 13, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery in the Hurricane community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born December 2, 1920, in Clay County, Tennessee, to the late Riley and Cora Loftis. She was married to the late "W.C." Clarence Hall. She was a factory supervisor at Heavy Duty Mfg. company and a member of the Hurricane Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Joe Hall and David Hall; 2 Sisters: Daffo Brown and Dorothy Brown; 1 Brother: Clifton Loftis; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Josie Smith. Survivors include 2 Grandchildren: Debra Petty & Jim Petty of Gainesboro, TN, and Donna Elrod & husband James Elrod of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Nikki Ford & husband John Ford, and William Pippin; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Barbara Lewis of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Special Sister-in- Law: Geneva Braswell of Nashville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. James Bybee will officiate at the services.
