Funeral services for Mrs. Doris L. Sharp, 79, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, December 3, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation, with interment at a later date at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Sharp passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born November 7, 1930, in Wallingford, CT, to the late Fredrick and Ann Hicks. She was married to the late William Thomas Sharp. She worked in retail sales, and was a member of Cookeville Christian Fellowship. She served in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Richard Hicks; 1 Sister: Victoria Hicks; and 1 Granddaughter: Charity Sharp. Survivors include 4 Sons: William Sharp of Silver Springs, FL, Paul F. Sharp of Cookeville, TN, Richard Sharp of Gainesboro, TN, and Carl Sharp of Akron, OH; 1 Daughter: Laurie Manuel of Las Vegas, Nevada; 1 Brother: William E.
