Funeral services for Doris C. Richardson, 81, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Scott - Red Hill Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born July 18, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John Parish Richardson and Buna Hamlet Richardson. She was a factory worker, and affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Robert Odell Richardson and Joel Richardson; 2 Sisters: Willie Scantland and Velma R. Smith; and 1 Sister-in- Law: Sue Richardson. Survivors include 2 Brothers: Dalton Lee (Janie) Richardson and Ben Richardson, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Dorothy Bradford of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Pearl Richardson of Gainesboro, TN.
