Funeral services for Donnie Ray Hammock, 65, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at his residence. He was born December 11, 1949, in Jackson County, TN, to Stella Mae Rhoten and the late Elmer Esters Hammock. He was a furniture factory upholsterer, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Benna Clay Hammock and Michael E. Hammock, Sr. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Teresa Shirley of Gainesboro, TN, and Angie Winfree of Gainesboro, TN; his Mother: Stella Mae Rhoten of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Jackie F. Hammock of Hilham, TN, and Jimmy Wayne Hammock of Chattanooga, TN; 3 Sisters: Jeannie Mae (Charles) Scott, Kathy Phann, and Deborah (Jr.) Phann, all of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.
