Funeral services for Donnie Meadows, 56, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, at his residence. He was born August 5, 1960, in Putnam County, TN, to the late Mitchell Meadows and Erma Sue Meadows. He worked for a mowing company cutting state right of ways, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Ricky Steve Meadows, Ronnie Meadows, and Robert "Buddy" Meadows; 2 Sisters: Edith Louise Meadows and Sally May Meadows; and 1 Half Brother: Billy Joe Stafford. Survivors include 2 Brothers: Roger Dale (Rose) Meadows and Bobby Ray Meadows, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters in Law: Dawn Meadows of Gainesboro, TN, Deborah Rush Meadows of Gainesboro, TN, Janet Stafford of Livingston, TN, and Roberta Hunter of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
