Donna Faye Shannon Young, 70, of Sparta, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Raintree Manor in McMinnville, TN at the age of 70 years. The family has chosen cremation, with no visitation or services at the funeral home. She was born February 13, 1946, in Sparta, TN, to the late Gaines and Hallie Shannon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother and Sister-in-law: J.C. and Mattie Shannon. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sharon (Jason) Bowman of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Vicki Allen, Brittany Allen, and Deric Bowman; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Ethan Stafford and Bailey Stafford; and 2 Brothers: Bobby (Hattie) Shannon of Sparta, TN; and Billy (Jessie) Shannon of Ohio.
