Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Faye Matthews, 59, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 4 P.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born April 25, 1959, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Cordell Matthews and Georgia Matthews. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Tonya Mae Stewart; and 1 Brother: Roger Lee Matthews. Survivors include her Beloved companion and Best Friend: Wesley Rose of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Son: Jacob Matthews of Whitleyville, TN; James Babcock, whom she considered a son; 1 Brother: Danny Matthews of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 1 Sister: Mary (U.L.) Brown of Whitleyville, TN; Special Niece: Rhonda Boshers; and Great Nephews: Jakobi and Elijah Boshers. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro.
