Donald F. Lee

Donald F. Lee was born December 6, 1932, in Jackson County, TN, and he passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN, at the age of 90.

He was the son of the late Walter Stanton Lee and Pearlie Sue Franklin Lee. On December 23, 1955, he was married to Florence Lee, who survives. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired mechanical engineer. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, and a resident of the Dodson Branch community.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 Brothers; 3 Sisters; Granddaughter: Christy Lee; and Great Granddaughter: Selena Meyers.

Survivors include his Wife of 67 years: Florence Lee of the Dodson Branch community; Son: Michael W. (Kristina) Lee of Springfield, TN; Daughters: Patricia Caroland of Cookeville, TN, Marietta Lee Ragan of Springfield, TN, and Angela (Randy) Skelton of Gallatin, TN; Brother: Hubert Lee of Florida; Sister: Betty (Johnny) Miller of NC; 12 Grandchildren; 36 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN, with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 A.M. until time of services.
