Donald C. Henry

Donald C. Henry was born on May 17, 1943 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville on Sunday morning, May 31, 2020 at the age of 77. Mr. Donald was the son of Fred and Vera Davidson Henry. He was a dry wall hanger and loved to raise chickens. He was married on October 16, 1994 to Cora Mae Biggs Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Rachael Henry, brother, Paul Davidson and sister, Geneva Colwell. Survivors include his wife, Cora Mae Henry of Ashland City; son, David Henry, daughters, Lisa Durham and Donna Cart, step-sons, Terry Wilkes, Oscar Wilkes, Robert Allen and Rodney Allen all of Ashland City, TN; step daughter, Donna Stevens of Ashland City, TN; brother, Billy Henry, sisters, Dorothy Powers of Mt. Juliet, TN, Thelma Harrington of Gainesboro and Kathy Vandergriff of Mt. Juliet, TN. Several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro and again on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 10 am to 1 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery on Seven Knobs Rd in Gainesboro.
