Funeral services for Donald Bryant, 80, of the Stone community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 3 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1941, in Booneville, Arkansas, to the late George Woods Bryant and Lillie Orene Richardson Bryant. On July 22, 1962, he was married to Anita Bryant, who survives. He was the evangelist at Lakeview Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Terri Loftis; Brother: Shelburne Bryant; Sister: Joann Loyd; and Brother in Law: Junior Loyd. Survivors include his Wife: Anita Bryant of Gainesboro, TN; Son: Shelby (Donna) Bryant of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: CE (Eula Faye) Bryant of Booneville, Arkansas, and Jerry (Rhonda) Bryant of Greenwood, Arkansas; Sister: Glenda (Jim) Lafferty of Centerton, Arkansas; Sister in Law: Jeanette Bryant of Booneville, Arkansas; Grandchildren: Jordan Bryant and Travis Bryant of Gainesboro, TN, Jada (Daniel) Padgett of Carthage, TN, Cruz and Michela Loftis of Waldorf, Maryland; and Great Grandchildren: Tucker, Beau, Kolt, Kutler, and Knox. Bro. Jay Loyd, Bro. Les Ditto, Bro. Jordan Bryant, and Bro. Joe Finch will officiate at the services. Pallbearers: Daniel Padgett, Travis Bryant, Cruz Loftis, Jerry Anderson, Harold Flatt, Alfred Flatt, Ken McMillan, and Rodney McMillan In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mission Fund for Lakeview Church of Christ or Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital by contacting the funeral home.
