Funeral services for Mrs. Dimple V. Pippin, 90, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, September 22, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., Sunday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born June 7, 1924, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Tom Allen and Ora P. Allen. She was married to the late Tom C. Pippin. She was a factory worker and homemaker, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Daughters: Judith Nell Pippin and Linda Lucille Wade; and 1 Brother: Arbie J. Allen. Survivors include 2 Sons: Dewey C. (Nancy) Pippin and Roy Douglas (Vickie) Pippin, all of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; 7 Grandchildren: James V. Wade, Paula Byers, Cristal Cronk, Michael Douglas Pippin, Lisa Marie Pippin, Jennifer K. Matthews, and Jason D. Pippin; 14 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Haskell P. Allen and James Edward (Mary Sue) Allen, all of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; and 1 Sister: Jewell (Johnny) Pippin of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN.
