Graveside services for Mr. Dewayne Chaffin, 54, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Chaffin passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009. He was born September 14, 1954, in Putnam County, TN, to Ben and Willene Chaffin. On September 9, 1976, he was married to Nancy J. Chaffin, who survives. He was the owner and agent of an independent insurance agency. He was a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Toni Lee Chaffin. Survivors include his Wife: Nancy J. Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Robert Luke Chaffin, and fiance, Melanie Black, of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Jo Anna (Lloyd) Williams of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Anna Claire Williams; his Parents: Ben and Willene Chaffin of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Brother: Ralph (Margaret) Chaffin of Cookeville, TN; 2 Nieces: Jennifer and Mitchell Nelson of Cookeville, TN, and Paula Chaffin of Cookeville, TN; 2 Great-Nephews: Chase Carter and Caleb Nelson; and 1 Great Niece: Jaycie Carter. Bro. Wayne Wells and Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate at the services.
