Funeral services for Dennis Biggs, 56, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born October 17, 1957, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Mack Biggs and JoAnn Draper Biggs. He was a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Michael, Robert, and Darrell Biggs. Survivors include 2 Sons: Brian Biggs and Brent Biggs, both of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Christy Biggs of Whitleyville, TN and Keisha Hensley of Red Boiling Springs, TN; the Mothers of his Children: Joan Biggs of Gainesboro, TN, and Sharon Hensley Beaty of Red Boiling Springs, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Denton Bristow, Sarah Ballard, Briley Biggs, Michael Miller, Thomas Miller, and one expectant grandchild; 1 Brother: Tommy Biggs of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Diane Smith of Gainesboro, TN, and Loretta Moore of Celina, TN.
