Denise Scott

Denise Scott was born on August 16, 1964 in Jackson County, TN and passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 61.

Denise was the daughter of James Willis Clinton and Verdie Jean Hicks Clinton. She was a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James "Mass" Clinton.

Survived by: daughters Tamara (Chris) Dubree of Cookeville TN, Tosha Wilmoth of Gainesboro TN and Tana (Corey) Ledbetter of Crossville TN; grandchildren Kayah Dabbs of Sparta TN, Hanna Dabbs of Cookeville TN, Carson Dubree of Cookeville TN, Bentley Wilmoth of Gainesboro TN, James Wilmoth of Gainesboro TN, Izabella Wilmoth of Gainesboro TN, Delaney Ledbetter of Crossville TN, Maddie Ledbetter of Crossville TN; Best Friends Barbara Hart and Joyce Ramsey; Father of her children Roger Scott of Cookeville TN.

Visitation will be on Sat. 10 am to 12 pm Chapel at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Owens officiating.
