Della Evelyn Burks was born May 17, 1930 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Overton County Health and Rehab in Livingston at the age of 93.
She was the daughter of George Washington Pritchett and Ruby Mae Boles Stafford. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Harris Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Burks; son, Jack Burks; granddaughter, Shawna Skinner; grandson, Michael Skinner; brothers, James, Clay and Eddie Pritchett; sister, Estelle Pritchett; son-in-law, Michael Skinner.
Mrs. Della is survived by her sons, Johnny (Aletha) Burks of Monroe, TN and Bill (Janice) Burks of Hilham; daughter, Sue Skinner of Livingston; sisters, Glenna Young of Gainesboro and Jo Helen Crabtree of Hilham; sister-in-law, Helen Pritchett of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Farrah (Joe) Pillen, Brandon (Leigh Ann) Burks and Thomas (Melissa) Burks; great grandchildren, Matthew (Saige) Reagan, Wyatt Reagan, Charlie Jo Neville, Cooper Neville, Justin Skinner, Gracie Skinner, Karrah Burks, Carter Burks and Leo Burks; great great grandchildren, Mazie Jo Reagan and Deacon Reagan.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 2 pm at Campground Cemetery in Hilham, TN with Bro. Rick Lacy officiating.
