The family has chosen cremation The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, at her residence in Gainesboro, TN. She was born July 28, 1957 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Karen Swenson and the late Jason David Shackelford. She was married to the late Samuel Shonley. She worked as a special education teacher's aide. She was a mother to all who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Steven Shackelford. Survivors include 3 Sons: Chris (Amanda) Macklin of Gainesboro, TN; Robert (Beverly) Macklin of Cookeville, TN; and Andrew Hanks of Florida; 3 Daughters: Jill Johnston of Iowa; Amanda (Ronnie) Scott of Gainesboro, TN; and Kalyssa Hanks of Gainesboro, TN; 11 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; 1 Brother: Kerry (Kim) Shackelford of Iowa; and 1 Sister: Kamille (Tom) Loftus of Iowa.
