Debbie Scantland

Debbie Elaine Scantland was born February 19, 1959, in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown hospital in Nashville at the age of 65.

She was the daughter of Billie Lando Scantland and Nannie Willene Scantland. She was a factory worker and worked at Country Cabin Quick Market for a number of years. Debbie attended Poston’s Chapel Community Church. She was Christian Faith.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son: Kenny Scantland; brothers: Danny (Colleen) Scantland of Michigan, Lando Jr. Scantland of Chattanooga, TN, Jeffery Scantland of Celina, TN, Don (Betty) Scantland of Hilham, TN, David Scantland of Gainesboro, TN; many nieces and nephews also survive, and a special god daughter Sarah Hammock.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2025, 4-8 pm and again on Friday, 10 am till noon. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, December 20, 2024, in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Scantland officiating. A burial will follow in Lynn Cemetery.
