Dean Sisco

Funeral services for Mr. Dean Sisco, 63, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery in Overton County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 10 A.M until time of services. Mr. Sisco passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 12, 1945, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Wilburn Odell (W.O.) Sisco and Nellie Law Sisco. On June 25, 1966, he was married to Janet Sisco, who survives. He was a grader operator for the Jackson County Highway Department, and a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Wendell Sisco and Ricky Sisco; and 1 Sister: Louise Sisco. Survivors include his Wife: Janet Sisco of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Son: David Gaw of Whitleyville, TN; 3 Daughters and 2 Sons- in-law: Brenda (Highlie) Blakley of Celina, TN, Glenda Brazle of Gainesboro, TN, and Denise (Chris) Flatt of the North Springs community of Jackson County, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Seth and Jessica Brazle, Nathion and Mechall Blakley, Mark Flatt, and Kristal Flatt; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Alexa and Sidney Brazle, and Mason Brazle; 3 Brothers: Joe Sisco, William O. Sisco, and Mike Sisco, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 6 Sisters: Sue Matthews, Linda Matthews, Nita Jones Smith, Darlene Smallwood, Janie Hix, and Ann Sisco, all of Gainesboro, TN.
