Funeral services for Mrs. Dean Reed Wilson, 85, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Birdwell Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born July 26, 1933, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late William Thomas (W.T.) Reed and Sallie Burris Reed Davis. She was married to the late Doy T. Wilson, who passed away May 17, 1992. She was a secretary for Production Credit Association, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Elva Reed Meadows; 2 Brothers: Cecil Reed and Walter Minor Reed; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Vickie Wilson; and a Special Niece: Iva Jean Meadows Whitaker. Survivors include 3 Sons: Jerry (Frankie) Wilson and Randall Wilson, all of Gainesboro, TN, and David (Debbie) Wilson of Bloomington Springs, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Jackie Wilson, Abbie Bryan, Sandy Jo Collier, Russell Wilson, and Michelle Polston; 6 Great Grandchildren: Tomas Allen, Jayla Bryan, Derrick Brock, C.J. Collier, Channing Collier, and Clayton Collier; 1 Sister: Frances "Tootie" Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Foster Sister: Willadean Cobb of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. John Mabery and Bro. Paul Reed Anderson will officiate at the services.
