Funeral services for Mr. David Wayne Dailey, 54, of Lake Wales, Florida, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, August 9, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery on Sugar Creek Road in Jackson County. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Dailey passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2006, at the Lake Wales Medical Center in Lake Wales, Florida. He was born May 4, 1952, in Gainesboro, TN to the late Allen Rich Dailey and Frances Irene Light Dailey. He was married to Theresa Joyce Dailey, who survives. Mr. Dailey was a truck driver and attended the Grape Hammock Baptist Church in Lake Wales, Florida. He served in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jackie Wayne Dailey. Survivors include his wife: Theresa Joyce Dailey of Lake Wales, FL; 1 Son: William Christopher Wayne Dailey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Step-Son: Christopher Gillespie of Nashville, TN; 1 Daughter: Rhonda Ann Laton of Chestnut Mound, TN; 1 Step-Daughter: Marion Elizabeth Gillespie of Eaglesville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Jesse Price, Megan Price, Devin Laton, Logan Dailey, and Briley Jo Dailey; 2 Brothers: Bruce Terry Dailey of Livingston, TN, and Joe Harvey Dailey (Little Brother) of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Sisters: Bonnie Frank Scott of Portland, TN, Barbara Sue Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN, and Frances Loretta Mabry of Bloomington Springs, TN.
