Funeral services for Mr. David Earl Allen, 60, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born November 29, 1957, in Dayton, OH, to the late William Earl Allen and Joyce Ann Barr. He was a carpenter by trade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Misty Jean Allen; and 1 Brother: Timothy J. Allen. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Christin Allen of Baxter, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Ashton Johnson, Alexis Watts, and Adison Watts; and 1 Brother: Johnny Allen of Gainesboro, TN.
