David "Cobb" Heady

Funeral services for Mr. David "Cobb" Heady, 65, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1952, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim Calvin Heady and Burnettie Denton Heady. He was a factory worker at Nielsen, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Earl Heady; and 2 Infant Sisters. Survivors include his Significant Other: Jo Boles of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Zachary Boles and Tyler Boles and their parents, Jason and Kristy Boles, all of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Fred (Willene) Heady, Harold (Mary Alice) Heady, and John "Pip" Heady, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Jean (Clark) Dennis of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Randy Heady and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
