David Camper

Funeral services for Mr. David Camper, 87, of the Center Grove community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 23, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Friday from 3 - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Camper passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1918, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, to the late Kirt Camper & Carnie Frazier Camper. On June 15, 1935, he was married to Pauline Camper, who survives. Mr. Camper was a small engine repairman. He was a member and deacon of the Cookeville Baptist Temple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Half-Brothers: Innes Skelton and Luther Skelton. Survivors include his wife: Pauline Camper of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Frank and Pat Camper of Decatur, AL; 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Jerry and Hollis Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Grand-Children: Holly Neuhoff, Cherl (Cliff) Loehr, Scott (Anke) Camper, Robin (Scott) Reidner, Kathryn (Michael) Barnard, and Keli (Ken) Oldham. 15 Great Grand-Children: Andrew & Matthew Loehr; Melissa, Jakob & Ashlee Barnard; Duncan & Jessica Reidner; Max, Makena & Taylor Neuhoff; Leah & Olivia Camper; and Gracelyn, Titus & Ezekiel Oldham; and 2 Half-Sisters: Reba Cole of Waynesboro, TN and Delda Smith of Florida.
