Funeral services for Darrell Biggs, 46, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born July 8, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio, to Opal Pippin and the late Mack Biggs. He worked in heating and cooling, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Benny Wilson, Michael Biggs, and Robert Biggs. Survivors include his Mother and Father: Opal and Ray Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Dennis Biggs and Tommy Biggs, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Diane Smith of Gainesboro, TN, Margie Compton of Lebanon, TN, and Loretta Moore of Celina, TN.
