Darlene Smith Clark

Funeral services for Mrs. Darlene Smith Clark, 47, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, October 30, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Doc Hall Cemetery on Wet Mill Creek in Clay County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Sunday from 9 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Clark passed away on Friday, October 27, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born July 10, 1959, in Putnam County, TN, to Betty Sue Goolsby and the late Lawrence Kenneth Goolsby. On March 17, 2006, she was married to Mike Clark, who survives. Mrs. Clark was a factory worker and a member of the Revival Fire Ministry. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Wade & Dona Goolsby; and her maternal grandparents: Platt & Maudie Dobbs. Survivors include her Husband: Mike Clark of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Jeremy Wade Smith of Cookeville, TN, and Johnathon Keith Smith of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Jennifer Lynn Ross of Sparta, TN; her Mother: Betty Sue Goolsby of Cookeville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Alexis Michelle Ross and Chasity Brooke Ross; 1 Brother: Terry Goolsby of Monterey, TN; and 2 Sisters: Charlene Fredman of Virginia, and Tracy Lynn Goolsby of Cookeville, TN. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Bro. Shane Newberry will officiate at the services.
