Funeral services for Darlene Boles Pennington, 60, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P. M., Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A. M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born April 3, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Charlie Boles and Marjorie Stacy Boles. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Vickie Marie Boles; 1 Granddaughter: Kailey Boles; 1 Brother: R.C. Boles; and 1 Sister: Frances Irene Boles. Survivors include 2 Sons: Norman Boles of Gainesboro, TN, and Calvin Boles and Kathy Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Patricia Short and Chris Harris of Cookeville, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Amy Boles, Timothy Boles, Matt Scott, Megan Scott, Kaitlyn Boles, Hailey Boles, Melinda Scott, Robin Scott, Ciara Harris, and Cody Harris; 5 Great Grandchildren: Skyler Boles, Nora Farley, Kenli Scott, Riley Williams, and Airana Williams; 2 Brothers: Lonnie Boles and Donnie Boles, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters: Ruby Phillips of Livingston, TN, Ona B. (Troy) Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN, Mary Lee Boles of Celina, TN, and Lucille (Hershel) Pyles of Monticello, KY. Bro. Don Bryant will officiate at the services.
