Danny Moss

Danny Moss was born on July 27, 1955 in Gainesboro, TN and passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the age of 70.

Danny was the son of Arville Moss and Lella V Fuqua Moss. He was a member of McCoinsville Church of Christ and a cattle hauler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Michelle Moss Burks and brother, Eldon Moss.

Survived by: son Anthony (Shannon) Moss of Sparta TN; brothers Tommy Moss of Cookeville TN and Bobby Moss of Gainesboro TN; sister, Linda Harris of Gainesboro TN and Nola Moss of Sparta TN; grandchildren Dylan (Ashlynn) Moss of Chattanooga TN, Shea Brown of Cookeville TN, Tierra (Ricky) Phipps of Cookeville TN; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Wesley Moss, Monica Moss, Melissa Moss, Eldon (Lisa) Moss Jr., Johnny (Robin) Moss, Marissa Moss, Jacob Moss, Ethan Moss, Jamie (Holly) Moss Jeremy Moss, Andrew Moss, Alivia Moss, Lennon Moss, Stephen (Natalie) Phy, Susan Phy, Landon Phy, Amanda Harris, Dale (LaTisha) Harris, Brayden King, Jayden King, Lidia Harris and Braxton Tower.

Visitation will be on Friday 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 17, 2026 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Anderson and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Pharris Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Lowe, Robert Chaffin, Shawn Way, Cody Way, Tommy Young and Devin Wright
